Digital Ambassadors Programme

Together with Huawei and Singtel, this programme was started to help the digitally vulnerable, especially seniors at MacPherson. With the partnership, we were able to provide a basic access package that includes a smartphone and a data plan and taught them the basic functions that they needed to know.

Our Objective

To identify apps that serve as “hooks” to get vulnerable segments to embrace technology, understand the needs of the participants and conduct weekly lessons to handhold the digitally vulnerable through the journey to discover how technology can help them with their day-to-day activities more efficiently.
